Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) is not necessarily a condition in and of itself. Rather, DDD refers to a variety of conditions that are the result of the aging or degeneration of spinal discs and is imaged as loss of height and loss of normal hydration of the disc, along with bulging and cracks in the surrounding annulus. These conditions can include:
- Spondylosis
- Spondylitis
- Spondylolisthesis
