He is one of the nation’s leading authorities on spinal cord injuries and degenerative diseases of the spine and has adopted many fusion technologies at their onset. In fact, he was the first physician in the U.S. to adopt anterior cervical plating, as well as total disk replacement with the FDA IDE Charite artificial disk. Dr. Geisler is also an active researcher, lecturer and author. His most recent interests are in relieving post-operative pain.
